What is Deep Coat?
Deep Coat is a next-generation, non-ionic silicone-based super spreader developed by BIOESR to improve the performance of foliar sprays in agriculture. It helps spray droplets spread evenly across the leaf surface, allowing better coverage, improved penetration, and faster absorption of pesticides, fungicides, biostimulants, and nutrients even at very low dosage levels.
Composition
- Active Ingredient: Polyalkyleneoxide Modified Heptamethyltrisiloxane (Silicone Surfactant)
- Formulation: High-purity liquid concentrate
- Category: Non-Ionic Silicone Spreader – 5th Generation
Mode of Action
- Reduces surface tension of spray solution, allowing droplets to spread uniformly on leaf surfaces.
- Promotes quick cuticular penetration for faster absorption of nutrients and agrochemicals.
- Ensures even distribution of sprays, including difficult-to-wet leaves.
- Prevents wastage of input by minimizing droplet run-off.
- Effectiveness of Pesticides, Fungicides, Biostimulants, Biofertilizers, and Foliar nutrients are increased.
Benefits
- Requires only 5 ml per 15–18 liters of spray solution, making it highly cost-effective.
- Provides complete leaf coverage, including undersides.
- Enhances effectiveness of crop protection products and fertilizers.
- Improves rainfastness and performance under variable field conditions.
- Compatible with a wide range of agrochemicals and biological inputs.
- Safe for organic and conventional farming systems.
Deep Coat can be used across all kinds of major crops:
- Field Crops: Paddy, Wheat, Maize, Cotton, Sugarcane
- Vegetables: Tomato, Chilli, Onion, Brinjal, Okra, Gourds, Carrot
- Fruits: Mango, Banana, Grapes, Citrus, Papaya
- Flowers & Ornamentals: Rose, Jasmine, Chrysanthemum, Marigold
- Plantation Crops: Tea, Coffee, Spices
Dosage & Application
- Foliar Spray: 5 ml per 15–18 liters of spray solution (knapsack sprayer)
- Add Deep Coat after all agrochemicals and fertilizers are mixed in the tank. Stir thoroughly for uniform mixing.
Farmer Feedback
Farmers who use Deep Coat observe:
- Complete wetting and coverage of crop leaves.
- Reduced wastage of pesticides and fertilizers.
- Higher effectiveness of sprays, even at lower chemical dosages.
- Improved pest and disease control with fewer repeat sprays.
- Confidence in using Deep Coat regularly for cost savings and better results.
Feature Comparison
| Feature | DeepCoat (Premium) | Ordinary Spreaders |
|---|---|---|
| Density | ~1.07 g/cm³ (high) | ~1.00–1.02 g/cm³ (low) |
| Surface Tension | 21.5 mN/m (super low) | 35–40 mN/m (average, poor spread) |
| Coverage | Complete leaf wetting (even waxy) | Patchy coverage, leaves untreated |
| Rain Fastness | Strong (resists wash-off) | Weak (washes off quickly) |
| Dosage | 40–50 ml/200 L water | 80–100 ml/200 L water (costlier) |
| Compatibility | Mixes with all agri sprays | May cause foaming/separation |
| Farmer Benefit | Saves cost, boosts yield | Higher wastage, poor efficiency |
